Shadows are the Soul of Your Images as they give shape, mood, and depth to your photography. They must, however be used creatively, and not left to chance or environment. One of the best ways to do this is with a single off-camera light, whether held in your hand or on a stand. There are various ways to trigger these strobes, such as a cord connected to your camera or if using the same manufacturer of flash and camera, wirelessly. After you have that established now it’s time to shape the light. There are several types of light modifiers in the market that will suit your needs. I recommend paying a visit to B&H Photo www.bhphotovideo. com or www.strobist.blogspot.com.
Saw this sculpture at a gallery at Art Miami in Wynwood. Lots of people riding bikes! Added more images from Art Miami.
Sometimes just looking good at a Miami Critical Mass ride is enough. Good friends. Good cause. Comfortable ride.

- Bicycle rider on Miami Metrorail
Many of usually think about a bicycle commuter as a business person, hipster, or bicycle messenger either going to work or riding as part of their job. Some people rely on their bicycle not just for the pleasure of riding, but for the necessity of transportation. I spotted this individual with his bicycle on the Miami Metromover. His bicycle is obviously in an extreme state of disrepair with a torn seat and no tires. He’s literally riding on the rims. Think about keeping extra equipment with you and donating them to those less fortunate that you see on the street.
Ladies enjoying their Sunday ride.
I really enjoy riding toward Blackpoint Marina in Miami along the newly refurbished bikeway. I encountered these ladies on a Sunday ride. Yes, a helmet would have been an addition I’d recommend.

I was passing by Mack Cycle after a bike ride and ran into this really sweet lady that rides her bike everywhere. She is obviously fashion conscious and is very proud of it. She’s a retired School Teacher and still tutors kids.

How “Chic” is it to go to South Beach and be able to get on a bike and go everywhere? On a recent night on Lincoln Road I stopped at the Shake Shack and noticed the DecoBike station right across the street. Plenty of bikes to use all in great condition for a lot less money than parking and a lot more fun to get around. You truly see much more from a bike.
Yesterday I went on a ride to Key Biscayne and decided to check out the new Mountain Bike Trails on Virginia Key. I’d heard a lot about it and I saw this group on the trails. They said they really enjoyed the new park.

I noticed this cyclist on Key Biscayne, Miami, Florida during a memorial ride. What caught my eye was the matching Pink Rose on the back of the saddle. Nice touch!
